Family pension Popice near Znojmo
We are a family guesthouse positioned in the heart of the Znojmo wine region surrounded by vineyards, beautiful countryside with the possibility of walking tours and hundreds of kilometres of cycle paths.
The guesthouse is situated directly on the spinal cycle route in the protected area of the national park Podyji, which thanks to the iron curtain lay undisturbed for decades, offers wonderful walks through untouched countryside in the valley of the river Dyje. Vineyard Sobes is amongst the top ten vineyards in Europe, Sealsfield’s Stone gives impressive views onto the river, wine cellar alleys, fascinating Romanesque and baroque architecture of the town Znojmo as well as enjoying some of the local culture, fishing or swimming, all of this is available and is within a short distance from our guesthouse.
The guesthouse itself has two double bedrooms,one three and one five bedroom apartment. The rooms are spacious the full capacity is 16 people including additional beds (12+6).
We have a self contained kitchen which is available to our guests, a wine cellar with the option of guided wine tasting tour or purchasing local wines and bike rental. The guesthouse position serves an excellent stopping point on your way to Croatia, Italy and in the winter period going skiing to the Alps which lie only two hours away.
Storage of bicycles and motorcycles is available as is an outside barbeque area with seating.
